The footage has been shot for the upcoming video of
West Side Ride. I had no choice but to rent a classic Ford Mustang convertible, take Heidi Jo out and do the west side ride.
We shot up and down Venice Boulevard, the Santa Monica Pier, and everywhere inbetween. Editing starts this week!!!
This subject means a lot to me, even though I have not lost anyone to texting and driving. It is killing us daily, and I don't blame people
for wanting to text and drive. The devices we use are addictive - addictive enough to endanger ourselves and everyone on the roads with us.
It is time for the government, car makers and phone makers to step up and help put an end to this as best we can. This Public Service Announcement offers
a solution - please spread the word and practice safe driving.
Editing on "Bail Me Out" has begun. This is a very early test shot of King Famous and Heidi Jo from day 2 of the
shoot. Photography by Jeremiah Burton.
Jeremiah Burton shot both days of Bail Me Out. When he's not behind the camera he is in front of it
acting, improving or modeling. He keeps telling me he's a scientist too, so I suggested Buckaroo Banzai.
This year the goal is to shoot and cut a video for each season of the year. The first video up
is "Bail Me Out," which people really seem to enjoy from the new album. Here Heidi Jo poses for her close up.
Listened to the test pressing last night. Solid. The sound was soft, and the vinyl exposed every nuance
of my mix. A few songs I thought I could lower the vocals a tad, but when I just listened, it really felt right. As the album played
on, it kept getting better.
